This sketch takes a good hard look at the issue of forgiveness in relation to responsibility. While almost everyone would say they’re all for forgiveness, everyone can also recognize that responsibility is best entrusted to those with proven character. This tension is captured in the dispute between Paul and Barnabas over what to do with Mark after he deserts them in a critical situation. The sketch seeks to realistically re-create the dispute, while setting Paul and Barnabas in a contemporary situation.
