About the Author/Publisher of Crosspoint Scripts
Dave McClellan started Crosspoint Scripts back in 1994 in his basement on a little Macintosh computer, publishing scripts he'd written for seeker-oriented church services. Dave has now been a pastor for about 16 years or so, and since his days at Denver Seminary, has always had a fascination for drama in services. He stays involved in every aspect of church drama, and especially enjoys the interplay of sermon and drama. You can e-mail him at dmcclellan@crosspointscripts.com.
Dave is the pastor of The Chapel at Tinkers Creek in Aurora, Oh. As you might guess, the church uses a lot of drama. They have a lay coordinator who always has a few scripts in the pipeline (Crosspoint Scripts, of course!). They use people like yours, in a setting like yours, with a budget like yours.
Dave went to Grace College in Winona Lake, In. where he majored in Speech Communications. He then moved west to Denver Seminary for his Master of Divinity. Now, besides pastoring and writing, he's finishing a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Communication from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, focusing his dissertation on ancient oratory and the role of oration in sermon preparation and delivery.
